The central province will funnel VND3.7 trillion (US$176 million) into
restoring a historic national relic, the Ky Anh tunnel, 7kmnortheast of
the province''s capital Tam Ky city, in addition to a complex of commune
houses, a tourism centre and infrastructure.
The chief of UNESCO Viet Nam, Katherine Muller-Martin, yesterday paid
tribute to residents of Duong Lam Village for a local conservation
project restoring historic buildings.
